This isn’t an original mod at all — I just copied a mod I saw on Steve’s LEGO Blog — but I thought I would post some pictures anyway. It was fun to do this mod. I made some changes from the one at Steve’s LEGO Blog, mostly since I had the luxury of more bricks. I built the smith house very closely to the directions for the log cabin, except that I flipped it around, so that the creek would be on the right (since my medieval marketplace creek is on the left, and I want them to share the same creek). I made this using LEGO Creator Log Cabin, LEGO Blacksmith Attack, and Steve’s idea, haha. Note that like the LEGO Log Cabin, the roof comes off and the back swings open. I’ll post a few close-up pictures over the next few days.
Your build is indeed good, I like the fact that you included the stream as well (mine was mostly left out) also the inclusion of so many windows really makes the set interior shine.
My one suggestion would be to place the windows one brick higher at the front as they seem a little low, but other than that brilliant work and something that I would be proud to display in my own village.
