Actually, I’d like to pick up kind of a very deep but lighter shade of blue for the sea, and something that’s green on the bottom and light blue on the top for the castle backgrounds, if I can find/make something like that. Then, the dark one can still be used for night sea/sky scenes.

I do think this’s one shot that would have benefited from the colored backdrops you’re considering picking up. If you get two shades of blue, the darker one could likely do double duty by being a dark sky in some shots and serving as the sea when you have pirates.

Also, I went for colorful pants instead of colorful shirts because I wanted the fashion to be different than ours, where everyone wears blue pants and colored shirts…
